Lisa Rossi is a stand-up comedian from Des Moines, Iowa, specializing in anecdotal stand-up and character-based improv. Audience members say watching Lisa’s stand-up feels like having drinks with that mom-friend who has no filter. Lisa left a career in journalism for comedy because more people laughed at her jokes than at her newspaper articles.  She grew up in Dike, Iowa and was almost the homecoming queen, but lost to someone who was a lot prettier and nicer than she was. When she's not on the stage, you can find her quietly wondering if she said something weird at a party.
